Tjaž Juvan
social pedagogue and circus artist
Tjaž Juvan has completed his studies of social pedagogy in Ljubljana and he went to the Vertigo school in Turin to get proper circus education there. He has been doing and teaching circus for over 10 years. He has learned the methodology of circus pedagogy as part of Cirkokrog and has attended many educational camps at similar organisations abroad.
The Cirkokrog association is a group of circus pedagogues who teach circus as a medium for working with people.

Suitable for young circus enthusiasts aged 7 to 15 who want to learn different prowesses of circus.
We are going to be learning various circus skills such as equilibrism (rope walking, circus big ball, unicycle), object manipulation and other kinds of juggling, as well as floor and group acrobatics (human pyramids, handbalancing ...). Also, we are going to be exploring our creativity and imagination through clown and theatre games, bringing it all together in the end to create a circus show.
The school of circus is taking place all long the school year.
